The start of every game is easy... that's how you learn the basics... relatively quickly though a new player pushing through the starchart will find they hit a brick wall until they farm up the mods, endo, build frames and weapons, learn how to properly mod weapons and frames, learn about damage types and resistances, learn how each boss works, etc... I certainly remember not being able to kill some bosses while I was progressing. Just like any loot based rpg type PVE game, eventually once you have done the farming, building, learning, looting... you will be overpowered. That is part of the genre... This isn't dark souls. It's a fast paced horde murdering looter shooter.

But it does take all the effort out of what you can do. Casual anti-collateral damage game so far. All you need to do is jump far out of harm's way with the press of a button, with barely any concern for what direction you should be going in. This might as well be No Man's Sky, since it's so relaxing. There should be an adequate amount of cover in maps and probably a removal of Bullet-Jump, at least for harder difficulties if we get a difficulty slider.
I actually just solo traveled through some of a level 30-40 mission with a fresh Volt (which is hard to get due to the wait time) and some barely ranked weapons. I couldn't take any objectives or kill much, but almost no harm came to me. It was disappointing how little damage I took and how easy it was to avoid it (stay in mid-air by repeatedly jumping and avoid those few shield deleting corpus AoE bubbles. Timing another jump right when hitting the ground was way too easy. It was relaxing).

I said a lot for what you can expect from lower level missions though. They're a breeze. Master Rank doesn't do anything for your current stats as far as I know, just gear. Managed to move the vehicle on sabotage or something a bit while on my last life (having it drain my shields means that's where I died a lot). It took no effort. I still believe the frustration that new players are having is that the majority of the game is played by looking through the wiki and not getting excited during the game, because the game is relaxing.

It was a fresh Volt. No abilities. Rank 0 or 1 (whichever it starts with). Nope, this game is very relaxing. a whole half a level without getting shot more than ten times. There is no learning curve besides looking up the wiki and grinding. The game is relaxing.
Because it comes coupled with "it's easy as #*!% lol lmao". One of my ideas for this game is not to hardcore nerf everything in a desperate attempt to make the game "balanced", but rework a system where you're an incredibly powerful character fighting an incredibly powerful enemy. I made that comparison when I started talking about how Mass Effect plays, in which you couldn't have missed the point more and just replied something random because you still have to try to prove me wrong at every turn, I guess. I mean, I did provide criticism, such thing is an absolute heresy nowadays and the equivalent of a personal attack on someone I don't know and don't care to know. When I read that quote, I imagined "there's a reason for the ninja to wield a big #*!%ing gun", not "he's just wielding it because it makes the game easier and faster lol".
